The novice men picked up their first victories of the season at Borne at Chiswick regatta, winning in the 8 and also (very convincingly if the 5 length margin is anything to go by) in the 4.

Congratulations to our London marathon runners for their efforts yesterday…

The novice women had a great start to their novice season with wins in both the 8+ and 4+ at Hammersmith Regatta over the weekend.
The novice men were also racing, but with difficult draws their crews in the 8 and 4 lost to the eventual winners.

Thames is hosting its annual WeHORR post-race party.  Details are under wraps at the moment but everyone welcome.  Even boys.

Friday 13th February: Anti-Valentine’s Masquerade Ball: This is a very over-the-top decadent masquerade ball with many fun events including a slave auction, anti-love songs karaoke, disco and much, much more!

As we roll to the end of January it’s all downhill now to the big head races, training camp and then summer racing… although summer still seems a long way off.
