Debs’ final hour victory

Deb Mallinson took victory in the lightweight single scull at the Home Countries International Regatta just over a week ago. A hard-fought race the week before at Nat Champs had Debs leading her Scottish counterpart through to the 1500m mark, where conditions and some recent, big changes to her technique caught up to her and left her in the silver medal position. The Home Countries win was a reversal of that fortune and proof that the changes had been worthwhile.
