Captain’s meeting 2009

If you want to hear about the latest developments at the club – rowing, coaching, social, subs, etc – or have been nominated for a job on the committee then the captain’s meeting on 29th July would be an excellent place for you to hang out.

There may well be reports from the captain himself, as well as varous other committee members, not to mention the opportunity to vote on lots of very important issues.

I would also say that there will be the chance to quiz the committee on subjects of your choosing but after a somewhat unfortunate incident last year, I highly recommend that you take the issue first to James Elder – club secretary – as I believe these things have to be itemised on the agenda. I may be wrong about that – there seem to be an awful lot of rules, sub-clauses and protocols to follow, none of which I have memorised – James on the other hand has, and would, I’m sure, be delighted to advise you on how best to proceed.

Ooh, AND you’ll be able to buy beer from the bar. Hurray!
