Al Heathcote: 2hrs 58mins 36seconds
Charlotte Godber: 4hrs 21mins 24seconds
Charlotte says, “Marathon was good… I beat Jordan, that’s the main thing. But I did have a bit of a Jordan moment in that I thought it was a square 40 Kms, so that extra 2.195 kms took me a bit by surprise. I ran the whole way (bar the bottlenecks) and finished in 4hrs 21 mins and 24 seconds! Beating Steve Redgrave’s time (although he probably did BBC interviews on the way). Got a little bit of sun stroke and some achey legs, but will be fit to row any minute now…”
